Anglican Prison Chaplain - Anglicare, Barwon Prison, Melbourne

Anglican Criminal Justice Ministry is a chaplaincy program that ministers to people who are incarcerated in prisons and juvenile detention centres, and / or have been released from prison. We are looking for a suitable person to become a member of our chaplaincy team, ministering in Barwon Prison - a maximum security prison housing approx. 500 men and is situated in Lara, just outside Geelong. Applicants may be ordained or lay members of the Anglican Church.
The successful applicant will have:
o    Ministry experience
o    Well developed interpersonal skills and self-awareness
o    Ability to read and negotiate complex and sometimes dangerous institutional cultures
o    Formal theological formation
o    One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent is desirable
