After 50 years of championing spiritual care in health, Spiritual Health Association will cease trading in its current form on 31 December 2024, due to the withdrawal of government funding. This transition marks a significant moment for SHA as we seek to ensure the continuity of our mission.
Despite these challenges, we are committed to supporting our members and the broader health community for as long as we can. We are exploring all possible options, including mergers and partnerships, to continue the vital work we’ve been doing since 1974.
In the interim, we have secured Deductible Gift Recipient status, broadening our ability to receive donations and apply for grants, which considerably enhances our fundraising capabilities during this critical period.
