Christine Hennequin

Christine has worked both as a spiritual care practitioner and a manager for around 14 years in public hospitals. Other roles have included coordinating bereavement support, projects and consumer participation. Her qualifications include Pastoral Care, Social Sciences and Project Management. 

Christine first joined Spiritual Health Association in October 2009, before retiring in 2022. During her tenure as Quality and Development Leader, she managed several projects, including the regional and rural development of spiritual care, as well as the development and evaluation of frameworks and guidelines, including a minimum data set for documenting spiritual care. Her work included developing best practice models of spiritual care and collaborating with stakeholders and health services to achieve those results.

Christine has returned as a Transition Consultant for the next three months, from April to June. She brings her expertise once again to support SHA's ongoing and upcoming initiatives and projects.
